My mainr painting interest now is Pastel work, enjoyed for its immediacy and the ability to change things when I go wrong. I did for a time enjoy the Chinese Brush style which I studied on tutorial weekends at Pendrell Hall College in Staffordshire. The tutor there is Pauline Cherret. Pendrell Hall is a superb location and provides excellent accommodation and really good food. The grounds are particularly good in the spring with huge rhododendron bushes.
